Can I buy tickets for users of different ages?

Yes, you can choose between different age groups:

• adult
• junior (born after 10/31/2009)
• baby (born after 10/31/2017)

Is there any single way ticket?

No, all tickets include the return journey. If you walk up and you need to get down by lifts, we have a single-way-down ticket, which can be purchased directly at our ticket offices or at the departure of the lifts.

Can return tickets be used on different days?

For Pianalunga, Passo dei Salati and the 3 valleys (Alagna-Gressoney-Champoluc) you can use the two ways on different days (ex. Monday and return on the following Wednesday).
For Indren there are two types of ticket:

  • Round trip allows you to get on and off during the same day
  • Round trip "open" allows you to get on and off on different days (ideal for alpinism, to climb the peaks of Monterosa and stay overnight at the huts on the glaciers).

With the daily BikePass am I allowed to use the lifts as many times as I want?

Sure.

If I walk up, can I take the lifts only to come down?

Yes. For all the lifts we have ”only retun” tickets. Their price is unique, except for children under 8 years old, that are free of charge if you buy an adult ticket at the same time.

Can I bring my bike with me on the lifts?

Yes sure. All the lifts are equipped for bike transport.

Are the dogs allowed on the lifts?

Yes. Your pets are welcomed in Monterosa Ski. The animals travel for free but muzzle and leash are mandatory. If you need, muzzles can be rented at the ticket office. The cost is € 2,00 per day (+ € 8,00 of deposit )

Can I use the Teleskipass during the summer ?

The Teleskipass service is not available on the lifts in Alagna, Alpe di Mera, and in the Aosta Valley that are open during the summer season.

During the summer, are the lifts connected or do I have to walk?

The lifts allow, starting fromAlagna Valsesia, to go Frachey in Ayas Valley and return. During the weekends in July and everyday from 1st to 30th August will open the chairlifts Alpe Mandria and Colle Bettaforca. For those two there is a small distance to be covered on foot from the arrival of Alpe Mandria until the departure of Colle Bettaforca (about 20 minutes downhill) and on the way back from Bettaforca to Ciarcerio you have to walk about 30 minutes.

Summer 2026 – WARNING: the Staffal–Passo dei Salati route will be open every day from May 30 to August 23, 2026, and will close earlier than the other lifts.

Do people with disabilities get a discount?

Yes. They have to show a Disability Card or a Certificate that shows the percentage of disability, that has to be at least 67% or higher to get a reduction. The discount is of 50% on the adult price ticket. If they are entitled to have a carer, he will also get a 50% discount. The children have a 50% discounted ticket and they are always entitled to have a carer until adulthood.
